It was interesting to watch how the tweets from Iran began to include desperate pleas not to retweet certain people's messages and proxy information as the security forces seemed to start targeting people through social networks.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Given the historical legacy of the internet has been one of capitulation and betrayal of many political bloggers, in the name of commerce, it's worth noting what it means for real people to be alone and creating the news.
